For the past six years, Mr. Bernstein has been the Optical Director for New Jersey Eye and Ear, managing our four optical dispensaries. Mr. Bernstein has been in the industry for over 27 years with extensive experience in owning and operating optical companies. He has simultaneously managed and operated over 24 optical retail facilities in ophthalmology practices and hospitals across the New Jersey/New York Metropolitan area. Mr. Bernstein has an international network including frame and lens manufacturers and distributors. He has been involved in the creation of several private label collections and understands the intricacies of manufacturing and designing eyewear. 

Mr. Bernstein is an optician and certified contact lens fitter who understands and appreciates the complexities of fabricating prescription lenses and contact lenses. Additionally, he has experience in wholesale eyewear distribution, where he has been responsible for opening new distribution channels and operations in Latin America.
